Do you like fish and/or shellfish? I do now, but I didn't really care for much fish when I was growing up. I mean, I liked fish sticks of course, but beyond that, fish seemed yucky... and scary, with the threat of choking on those little bones. I always loved seafood though, of course, since that was much more expensive!
Anyway, over the past couple of decades, fish has increasingly been hailed as the new health food. And I've learned to like it... or at least a lot of it. The truth is, there are a few varieties of fish, such as salmon, that rarely have many bones to worry about.
So, once I discovered that fact, I started eating fish a lot more. In fact, salmon is on my standard shopping list every time I go grocery shopping.
And so is shrimp... it's fairly inexpensive, and there are so many things you can do with it. I love lobster and crab, but depending on where you live, those may be outside your everyday budget.
