Ground turkey is a great low fat alternative to ground beef. I started using it originally when my teenage daughters swore off red meat, but we quickly found we liked it just as well as ground beef, and it's certainly healthier for you. Even my meat and potatoes loving significant other likes most of the ground turkey recipes that I make.

So, ground turkey is one of my "go to" ingredients often when I am throwing together meals. By adding beef broth/bouillon and browning it up well before adding it to a recipe, you can almost make it taste like beef too.

But if you really don't care for ground turkey recipes, then feel free to substitute ground beef (or even veggie crumbles) for the ground turkey in any of these cooking recipes in this section.
