Each month, I host a new recipe contest. January 2010 is our first recipe contest of the year! I hope to get as many participants each month as possible. Not only will this help build the recipe database on this site, but it will also be fun.**
Oh, and did I mention I'll be giving away prizes?
Each month's contest will have a theme. This will help narrow the field, put everyone on a more equal footing and just be more unique each month, to keep the interest high.
It's January, yes, but each month's contest is going to be thinking ahead a bit to upcoming holidays or seasons. So, this month, I thought it might be fun to run a contest to get quick, easy dinners you might make for your loved one on Valentine's Day.
So, create your most interesting, quick and easy special romantic dinner recipe and type or paste it in below, OK? I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

I've gotten my hands on some really cute aprons, from the Jenn Sew Happy Shop at Etsy.com. Won't you feel like cooking is just a bit more fun as you whip up dinner wearing one of these original hand-sewn aprons? I know the seamstress/designer and she does quality work. These aprons are really cute! Winner gets his/her choice of the sexy lingerie apron or the romantic heart apron.
These aprons I'm giving away are valued at $20. Not bad for submitting a free original recipe, is it? So get your entry in quick, OK?
I'm running a contest, looking for the best quick, easy romantic dinner recipes you'd make for your loved one on Valentine's Day. Each month is a different theme. If you have an original recipe that tastes great and goes together in an hour or less, why not take a shot and enter it here?
You never know... you just might win the monthly prize! At any rate, you'll get your name and recipe published here, on its very own page.

Carrot Velouté Recipe

My Carrot Velouté always makes a big hit. Basically we could call it cream of carrot soup... but how boring is that! Carrot Velouté makes it sound so much ...
Thank you for participating and keep checking back often to see the new contributions!
Happy New Year, everyone!
