Purists will say the only way to grill is over charcoal... or at least on an outdoor gas grill. But apparently there is a huge demand for small tabletop electric grills, because since George Foreman first introduced his original model 10 to 15 years ago, the market has exploded.
The model on this page is one of Foreman's newer models and it makes a great gift, especially for a cook with a family. At 72-square inches you can grill up to 3 servings at a time on its nonstick surface.
The grill plates are removable and can be put safely into the dishwasher. It has 1000 watts of power and cooks evenly, but you do need to let it warm up for a good 10 to 15 minutes in order to get to full heat.
Grilling is one of the healthiest methods for preparing meats and veggies can be great grilled too. But not everyone wants the bother of a large outdoor grill, especially if only cooking for one or two. So an indoor electric grill can be the perfect solution!
