Small Kitchen Appliances: Presto 07211 Liddle Griddle
A griddle makes a great gift for a chef. We got one as a gift a few years ago and we use it all the time. My aunt originally gave it to my hubby because he loves making pancakes, but it's also great for making grilled cheese, hash browns, bacon, steak and more.
The Presto model shown here is very similar (though smaller) to the one I own, and we're very pleased with it. It cooks evenly and there is a built-in tray to catch drippings. The nonstick surface is super easy to clean. If you wish, it can even be put into the dishwasher (without the heating element, of course).
This griddle would make a great gift for a single person or a couple. It's plenty big enough to cook a meal, but compact enough to fit in the cupboard.
